Hey, I’m Amer#
I’m a portrait photographer based in Frisco, TX. I work with seniors, juniors, athletes, creatives, and anyone who wants portraits with real energy. My favorite sessions are the ones that go somewhere unexpected.
That might mean finding a location with incredible light, setting up studio-style lighting in the middle of a field, or taking the whole shoot underwater. I’m drawn to the kind of portraits that leave my clients feeling empowered and proud.
How I Got Here#
Photography has been part of my life since I was a kid, but it really took off as a creative outlet from my day job. I picked up a camera, started shooting golden hour portraits at local parks, and couldn’t stop. Then I discovered underwater photography, and everything clicked. The combination of light, movement, and something genuinely different hooked me. There’s something about being underwater that feels so peaceful and out of this world.
I live here in Frisco with my wife, two boys, and a small dog who thinks he’s the boss. When I’m not behind the camera, I’m usually at one of my kids’ games, planning the next shoot, or exploring somewhere new. Why I Do This#
What started as a hobby turned into something bigger. Every session I shoot, I’m looking to empower my client. That moment when someone sees their photos and goes “wow, I look amazing” - that’s the whole reason I do this.
I want my clients to leave a session feeling more confident, more themselves, and more ready to chase whatever they’re chasing. Whether that’s college, a career in the arts, a sport they love, or just figuring out who they are. If a portrait session can help someone believe in themselves a little more, I’m all in. That’s how I want to make the world a little better, one photo shoot at a time.
What a Session With Me Looks Like#
Every session is fully guided. Whether you’re a senior, an athlete, a creative building a portfolio, or someone who just wants bold portraits, I’ll help you plan outfits, pick the right location, and walk you through posing so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands. Whether we’re at a park at golden hour, in a downtown alley with studio lighting, or in the pool for an underwater set, I want you to feel confident and have a genuinely good time.
I keep things simple: no confusing packages, no hard sells, no surprise fees. You’ll know exactly what you’re getting before we start. I take on a limited number of sessions each month so every client gets my full attention.
